ADVENT SERMON SERIES STARTS THIS SUNDAY!

CHRISTMAS LIGHT
One of the first signs of the Christmas season is the appearance of lights on trees, houses, and lit candles in windows.   Christmas lights are one of the best parts of the holiday season. These lights bring so much hope and excitement because they remind us that Jesus is the light of the world!    Join us this December as we rediscover what Christmas is all about – Jesus, God’s antidote for darkness in a fallen world -- Christmas Light!

CHRISTMAS CHOSEN 300 IS SATURDAY, DECEMBER 22!
The next Chosen 300 service will be the Saturday before Christmas. This dinner is typically much larger than others, with as many as 200 people attending. We will need all hands on deck to prepare the food, wrap gifts, and serve! Sign up now!
CHRISTMAS CHOSEN 300 TOY TRAIN!
Help bring joy to a child (ages 3 to 13 years old) in need by donating a toy this Christmas! The Toy Train is out and ready to receive gifts anytime, up to December 21st. This year you have the option to wrap and label (include gender and age) or not to wrap the gift.
Labels for marking will be in the Toy Train.

Although we need all age groups, please remember the 12-13 age group, as we ran a little short for them last year. Suggested items for this group are gloves, scarfs, clothes, perfume/cologne, hair accessories, sport team (Eagles, Sixers, etc.) brand clothing or accessories, LEGOS, or Comic books. We are also looking for donations of wrapping paper and tape (can be placed in the Toy Train).

We will be distributing these gifts on December 22 as we serve the Chosen 300 ministry in Pottstown! Donations are being collected in the toy train in the church office lobby!
2018 KID'S MISSION PROJECT!
We are very excited to announce that this year’s Children's Mission Project is the ever popular Dried Bean Soup Mix!   The mix includes a spice packet, instructions and, as always, comes tagged for gift giving. Cost remains just $5 each.   They make perfect gifts for grandparents, teachers, neighbors, co-workers, etc. The children have made 180 packages.   We will be donating all proceeds to "The Shoe That Grows,” an organization which provides an amazing shoe (it expands 5 sizes!) for children in third world countries who (incredibly) have no shoes.   Also, we are in negotiations for our own Wayne Church Costa Rica Mission Team to hand carry the shoes our kids purchase, for personal distribution to needy children in Costa Rica!
