Coffee Hour at the Senior Resource Center

Monday, July 20th at 12:30

Topic: Artificial Intelligence & Disinformation

Speaker: Mark Thompson, AARP Speakers Bureau

Disinformation refers to false information created to mislead people, and it's nothing new. But today's AI-powered tools and social media have made it easier and faster to create and spread disinformation.

In this lecture, we’ll explore how AI is used to create convincing deepfakes and clone voices, making it challenging to distinguish between real and fake content.

We’ll also review best practices for evaluating information and explore tech tools that can help identify content created with AI.

Please join us for this interesting workshop by emailing Lisa at activitydirectorsrc@gmail.com.

A light lunch will be served. All donations big or small are always greatly appreciated.

We are reaching out to explore an exciting opportunity for you to sponsor one of our "light lunches" for upcoming enrichment events and activities starting in July. We are seeking a donation of only $25.00 to sponsor a lunch, and in return, we will recognize your contribution at one of our programs and also in the weekly announcements.
