Hirst Decision Answers

REALTORS® like to answer questions.  But Washington REALTORS® advises all members to not answer questions regarding water rights on rural property - especially after the Hirst Decision.

So, where do you refer your clients who are asking?

Since the Hirst Decision names individual counties as responsible parties, we asked Spokane County officials how they are answering those questions.

General information and resources are online here:

Specific questions may be directed to:

John Pederson
, Spokane County Planning Director, (509) 477-3675.

2017 Construction

A quick look at the 2017 Eastern Region construction line up will tell you we're in for another summer of detours.

Put another way, many regional roads will be much better next fall!

A few high-profile jobs in the Spokane metro area are planned:

- the construction of two bridges over Freya Street at the roundabouts north of Francis

- sidewalk and street work in the Hillyard Neighborhood

 - Interstate 90 in downtown Spokane will get some bridge joint and concrete panel repair work

See the Washington State Department of Transportation has on its 2017 Construction Project list (pictured above),  online here.

SEO

You've likely heard of SEO: Search Engine Optimization, the process of making your website appear higher in search engine result pages..

What if you could spend less than a minute to get a snapshot of things you should look at to get the most from your website - for free?

SEO SiteCheckup will run several dozen checks on your website and let you know how you're doing, including testing your keywords, links, alt tags, and meta descriptions.

We ran our website - spokanerealtor.com - through this and learned our keyword cloud - most used words - are information, resources, and market.  That sounds good.

Run your website through the free SEO test now, online here.
