NEW!

Risky practices are emerging as a result of a very busy seller's marketplace.

Washington REALTORS® Legal Hotline lawyer
Annie Fitzsimmons hears about many of these practices.

Annie aims to highlight the consequences of risky practices and what you can do when your clients want to pursue a course that you deem risky.

For example, in this video, Annie talks about three steps you should take when your buyer wants to pay drastically over what you perceive to be market value on a property.

See Annie's seven-minute video online here:

Email Scam

Washington REALTOR® Sam DeBord, managing broker at Coldwell Banker Danforth in Seattle, discovered, last week, that hackers are using his identity to launch an email scam.

DeBord tells us that he's received hundreds of phone calls, texts, and emails from practitioners who received a bogus email in his name.

In the five-minute video below, he shares details about how he is getting a warning out to his colleagues about the scam, and tips on what you should do if you receive a bogus email.
