Washington REALTORS® Call for Action

CALL FOR ACTION
SUCCESSFUL!

Washington REALTORS®, this week, issued a Call for Action to support SB 5239, and we were successful!

The state Senate approved the bill Tuesday night - 28-21 - as a fix to the Washington State Supreme Court's so-called Hirst decision (water rights) and would ensure so-called permit-exempt wells could to be used for development.

The measure now goes to the House for consideration there.

Comparing numbers month-to-month, there were 25 percent fewer homes on the market this January compared to January 2016.

In other words, there is a very small inventory of homes for sale.
