We are looking forward to reopening our facility! And we can’t wait to see you. In order to do this responsibly and safely, we’ve decided to reopen in three stages. Starting Monday, June 15, we began one-on-one personal training and small group fitness classes. On June 29, in-person traditional summer camp will begin. Next, on July 6, our fitness and aquatics center will open up gradually and according to public health guidelines.

A few things may look different when you first come back. We are implementing some new protocols and procedures to keep everyone safe. Aside from requiring members and staff to wear facemasks in common areas, keep six-feet apart, and complete a health screening at check-in, you’ll notice that locker rooms and towel service will not be available and only our bottle fill station water fountains will be open.

We know there is a lot to keep track of so we have created a detailed reopening plan for you. There you’ll find more details about our opening phases, new protocols and how we are working hard to keep our facility safe. In the coming days we will release additional information, videos and links for you to prepare for your return to the Pav YMCA.

With regards to drafting, some withdrawals for membership dues were halted after our YMCA ceased operations due to the pandemic. Membership holds were done upon request or when we were unable to make contact with you about your account status. We thank those of you who continued their membership supporting our mission while we navigated through this difficult time. For those on hold, drafting for membership dues will resume as regularly scheduled on July 15, 2020.

It’s been a challenging few months. We’re here to help you and your family take the first steps back to your customary routines, including getting back into the Y.

From all of us, welcome back and we look forward to seeing you in person soon.
