Dear Members, Partners & Friends of FACCNE,
Happy New Year! We are so inspired by the engagement and encouragement of our network and we have so many ideas for this year. Once again, we'd like to warmly thank our Members, Partners, and Friends of FACCNE, and all those involved in the organization for their incredible support at this special time.

Despite a challenging crisis, FACCNE achieved a lot in 2020. Take a minute to have a look at our Year in Review video.

In December, we hosted our Second Leader Series with Adrien Nussenbaum, hosted by Nicholas Taborisky, respectively U.S. CEO's of Mirakl and Theodo. The Leaders Series meets with C-level Executives whose companies and initiatives are boosting the American market. Additionally, we ended 2020 with a Virtual Bordeaux Tasting, with a live presentation from Carole Sabit from Chateau du Seuil in France and Greg Lambrecht, Founder of Coravin. Attendees purchased the wines locally, thanks to D.B. Wine Selection. Thank you to everyone who attended!

We held our first event of 2021, "Let's Meet", today at 11am EST. It was a great start to the year and we have so much more to come. This month we are launching our NEW Diversity & Inclusion Series on January 26th, 2021 at 1pm EST/7pm Paris Time. The first event of the series will discuss Unconscious Bias in the Workplace. We have an exciting lineup of speakers so Register in advance. Additionally, we will host our Annual Meeting of Members virtually on Jan. 14th to reconnect & elect new Board Members. Finally we are re-launching the "Let's Chat" series, stay tuned for more updates!

Warm wishes,

Ludivine Wolczik, FACCNE Executive Director

CCI France Press Release: «Baromètre International des Affaires»

From September 8th to October 8th, 2020, the CCI France International Network and Les Conseillers du Commerce extĂ©rieur de la France (CCE) joined forces to produce an International Business Barometer. This barometer assessed the impact of the Covid crisis on more than 2,000 French companies and French subsidiaries in over 120 countries. The three major findings of Barometer #1 are:

1. The government economic support measures implemented in the countries studied have helped safeguard jobs and helped businesses maintain their activity.

2. Overall, the uncertainty of the Covid crisis has created a negative perception of the business climate both locally and globally. Companies located in the Middle East were found to be more worried about their future than those in other geographic areas.

3. The effects of the crisis on businesses are expected to remain for a while. Many companies expect a return to normalcy sometime between the second half of 2021 and 2022.
