The holiday season is upon us which means the WFA Winter Meeting is not far behind!
Meeting registration is electronic and can be done by clicking here or by copying https://forms.gle/WiiAuTEk8L83PikD8 and pasting into your web browser. Once you complete the form, you will receive a confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your registration was not processed correctly. Registration deadline is Monday, January 15, 2024. All cancellations must be received by Monday, January 15, 2024. Any registration not cancelled by that date will be responsible for all meeting fees.

Hotel reservations must be made by Monday, January 8, 2024
A block of rooms has been reserved for attendees of the WFA Winter Meeting at the special group rate of $299.00 per night + tax. Additionally, there is a mandatory Urban Destination Fee/Resort fee of $10.00/day. This fee gives you premium internet access, a daily $10.00 food and beverage credit, and beach cruiser bicycle rentals for 2 adults. Hotel reservations must be made by Monday, January 8, 2024. Reservations can be made by clicking here or calling 1-800-Hiltons and mentioning the group code WIRE. The special group rate is available Sunday, January 28, 2024 through Tuesday, February 6, 2024, based upon availability.

The session will begin with virtual tours of all three company's Mexico operations. You will literally be participating in three plant tours during this meeting! This is unprecedented!
Afterward, join us for an outstanding interactive panel presentation that will answer everything you ever wanted to know about doing business in the Mexico/US Border Zone. Some of topics being touched on include:
- What are challenges in starting manufacturing (locations, legal assistance, etc.)?
- Does having a manufacturing site locally aide in selling to companies in Mexico or Central America?
- How do you hire dependable employees in Mexico? What do they demand (transportation, food, other)?
- What are workforce concerns and do they differ from the U.S. (regulatory, cultural, etc.)?
- Are there differences doing business in the border zone versus the interior of the country?
If you have ever considered starting manufacturing in Mexico or are just interested in hearing about how three of our members are successfully navigating South of the border, this is one presentation you do not want to miss!
