Village of Whitefish Bay Official Weekly Newsletter

Message from the Village President, Kevin Buckley

The WFB Library Board is looking for one new board member. Please read below for details on how to apply.

I've asked village staff to forward interesting "factoids" that may interest residents. This one comes from our Chief of Police:

Currently women make up just 12% of law enforcement in the US.  Presently, 25% of WFB's officers are female.  There is an initiative called the 30x30 initiative that is focused on increasing the representation of women in policing to 30% by 2030, and the village is one hire away from that goal.

Eighteen months ago, the Village remodeled and expanded the women's locker rooms.

Have a great week! -kb

Why Is The Village Hall Phone Ringing?

When is the 2nd installment of Property Taxes due? For those residents who elected to pay their property taxes under the installment plan, please be advised that the due date for the second installment is March 31, 2024.

Can I place recyclable materials next to my recycling container on collection day? No, pursuant to Village Ordinance, all recyclable materials must be placed inside the recycling container with the lid completely closed. This is required in order to prevent glass and other debris from falling out of the container during the automated collection process.

Have a question? Send us an email or give us a call at (414) 962-6690.
