WFB President Attends Bidens Speech in La Crosse
Tuesday, Wisconsin Farm Bureau President Kevin Krentz was invited to attend President Joe Biden’s speech in La Crosse.

“I am pleased that I could represent Wisconsin Farm Bureau at President Biden’s visit today,” said Krentz. “We appreciate the attention to several rural issues from the president.”

During his visit, the president addressed his bipartisan infrastructure framework plan. Part of this plan will evaluate the nation’s access to internet.

Checkoff Expands Dairy Efforts
Dairy Management Inc. recently entered a partnership with Alamar Foods Company, which owns 455 Domino’s stores in the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan. Dairy Management Inc.’s partnership will focus on about 300 locations in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, with a goal of increasing U.S. cheese sales.
Senate Recognizes June Dairy Month
The U.S. Senate passed a bill marking June 2021 as National Dairy Month. The bill recognizes dairy’s role in a healthy diet and dairy producers as stewards of the land and livestock.
Cattlemen Recognized For Stewardship
This past weekend the Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association hosted their annual summer tour. As part of the evening program, they presented a few of their 2021 awards including the Environmental Stewardship Award. Jerry Huth and Josh Scharf, partners in Huth Polled Herefords of Oakfield, Wisconsin were presented with the honor.
Pork & pork products are the highest species byproduct export ($7.715 billion) closely followed by beef & beef products ($7.649 billion), and dairy products ($6.453 billion).
