Recruiting and retaining staff remains a top challenge for building service contractors, according to respondents of CMM’s 2022 Building Service Contractor (BSC) Benchmarking Survey. Among survey respondents, 64% said recruiting and retaining staff was challenging for its company to a large extent. 
Spanish Cleaning Association Calls for Change in Law

The Spanish contract cleaning association ASPEL has called for the Government to modify the laws on deindexation and public sector contracts in the service sector. "Modification of these laws would permit quality services to be offered throughout the lifetime of contracts," said Juan Díez de los Ríos, president of Aspel and member of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations (CEOE).

Kimberly-Clark Professional has introduced 100% bio-based and recyclable core plugs in its Scott and Kleenex hand towel ranges across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The plastic-free core plugs are made primarily from starch and fibre, replacing plastic core plugs currently in use.
