Sew a Stuffie

Join us to make your very own otter stuffie! This is a beginner sewing class where we will learn sewing construction basics by putting together fleece otters. It’ll be otter-ly delightful! While prior sewing experience is recommended, it is not required. All materials will be provided. Registration required starting August 2nd. For ages 8+

Japanese Folktales & Origami

Parents’ Choice Award winner Motoko regales families (ages 5 and up) with delightful folktales from her native Japan, combined with hands-on origami activities. Motoko’s step-by-step instructions make the ancient Japanese art fun and accessible. Children will learn focus, imagination, and precision while creating pieces of art. Registration required starting August 3rd.


This program is funded by a grant from the Wellesley Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Storytime

10:30am - 11:15am


Are you ready to play, sing, dance, jump and pretend to be in Mexico? Play games with balloons, flashcards, toys, and songs to learn some Spanish words. Pretend to be in “el mercado," the grocery store, and buy fruits and vegetables. Jump and dance while following directions in Spanish. This program is ideal for babies to toddlers. Older siblings are always welcome. Registration opens August 5th.
