Dear Members and Friends,
The Secretary of State, Kim Wyman, certified the Primary Election on August 21st. More than 2.51 million people cast their ballots. This is 54.44% of all registered voters in Washington and the highest turnout since 1964. The momentum going into the General Election is exciting and on the side of the Republicans; however, we have much work to do.
Congratulations to Loren Culp for Governor and all the Republican candidates that are going forward. WFRW will be spotlighting candidates and campaigns through our emails and social media. We encourage you to work on the campaigns in your districts. Get involved, do not assume someone else is doing it. Become educated about the candidates and share that information with others. If you don't have a race in your area, please "adopt" candidates in other districts who would love your help.
The Republican National Convention this week is pulsing with energy. Even though our delegates weren't there, WSRP Chair Caleb Heimlich announced our delegation’s votes, “On behalf of the Evergreen State proudly named after our first president, the most beautiful state in the nation, we cast all of our votes for President Donald Trump.” Marlene Pfeifer, our State Committeewoman, received a surprise invitation to the White House to watch President Trump give his acceptance speech tonight. Way to go, Marlene!
Below you will find a spotlight on several candidates that need our attention. To see all candidates use the Resource Buttons in this email. Thank you for being involved and for helping to elect Republican candidates. Republican Women do make a difference!
Looking forward to a Republican victory in the General Election!
