Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Legislative Update:

Senate Bill 365 & Senate Bill 1232

In a bipartisan effort, Pennsylvania’s legislative houses and Governor Shapiro have enacted new laws to support first responders and streamline workers' compensation. Additionally, Governor Shapiro signed Senate Bill 1232, amending the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act to mandate direct deposit for wage loss benefits, modernizing payment processes and enhancing reliability for recipients.
