SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT
NEW CHAMBER MEMBERS 2022
WILD MARSH GOLF CLUB
1710 Montrose Blvd
763-682-4476

New ownership - new logo - new look! Come see what's new and support the new ownership of this great gem in our community! Do you know that Wild Marsh is one of the top 25 courses in the state? Owners, Kevin Unterreiner
and Brad Behnke purchased the course from the City and want to spotlight it as a premier course to those from out of town and yet make it special to our local patrons and golfers.

There are loyalty cards, season passes, hole sponsorship opportunities on their new GPS scoring, league play and more! The Pro Shop has a new look and the dining room is now a game room with most of the food served in the area you might call the bar. Kevin and Brad have plenty of experience with managing a golf course and made the changes necessary to make Wild Marsh the place to be!

They started off with a bang - opening up the restaurant right away too! Meet Chef Matt who is creating the tasty menu options. The restaurant offers a day/golfer grill menu and a full menu for evenings. They have brunch plans for Sundays and happy hour specials as well. Go to the website for updates as this progresses, but give them a try and support them staying in Buffalo! Our course and the beauty if offers is second to none! Enjoy your meal or a cocktail on the deck and take it all in!

WHAT'S YOUR NUMBER?

I am excited to present our first training opportunity of the year! It's been a long time and those that we had over the last couple years were digital. Let's meet and learn together!

Have you ever taken an Enneagram personality assessment? It's a fun, but very accurate way to learn your strengths and weaknesses. With the Enneagram test (we will be using Truity as our free resource) you get assigned a number and with that number comes your characteristics. This helps you understand how to relate better to others. A great tool to have in your leadership toolbox.

One registered (see green button below), you will be given the link. Bring that information to the luncheon and let's have some good conversation! I am a 9 by the way!

Executive Coach, Tom Krause, from Five Capitals business coaching, is coming to share his expertise with us in how to understand ourselves so we can be good leaders.

Let's fill the room and make his trip up from Waseca worth the drive!
ACADEMIC LUNCHEON
Wednesday, May 18th
Buffalo Evangelical Free Church
11:00-1:00 pm

This well loved event is back this year - after missing the last two! For those of you new to membership, this is an opportunity to sponsor a senior student and have lunch with them. It's a great mix of local leaders sharing conversation and a meal with our future leaders! It is also the event that we introduce the above mentioned scholarship recipients. It's been going for over 30 years and it's a first come first serve basis to sponsor a student of your choice. Parent members, of course, get first dibs! More to come with registration/name release coming out no later than May 2nd. Stay tuned!

BUSINESS NEWS
WHAT IS HAPPENING AT OUR STATE CAPITAL

MEMBER/COMMUNITY HAPPENINGS
LADIES DAY OUT THIS SATURDAY

Don't miss out on the opportunity to shop and patron your local small retailers and restaurants on Saturday the 23rd. Mario's Italian (pasta and pizzas) and Adventure Bowls (tasty smoothies) food trucks will also be there to make the event fun! Grab your girlfriends and make a day of it in Buffalo!

Prize drawings in every store! You could win more than once! Also fun is a tourism influencer/adventurer will be in town experiencing all that Buffalo has to offer and writing and taking photos about her time here. She will be taking in the play at the end of her day Saturday. Though the forecast says rain - it's never a bad day to shop!

We should all head to Buffalo Community Theater's great plays - Almost Maine. It's about the citizens of Almost (not organized for a town, but too large for a wilderness) experience life altering power of the human heart. It's a series of 9 loosely connected tales about love, each with a compelling couple at its center! Humorous and thoughtful!
