In my last sermon, I asked for PRAYER-PRAYER for any and all my recipients of this treatise and last of all for me.
Unspoken was MY need of YOUR PRAYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Believe it or not but I also have CARE/CARES.

God has been GOOD-NO GREAT to me.
Yes, I have had my share of trial and tribulation but it DOES NOT exceed YOUR trial and tribulation-WE ALL HAVE TROUBLES!!!!!!!!!!!!
But, THANK GOD, I also have the greatest job in the world!
MOST of the time, I am HONORED and PRIVILEGED to walk in OTHERS hospital rooms, have PRAYER, and then go out to lunch.............................
MOST of my time and PRAYER is for others-THANK GOD!!!!
But sometimes it is ME:
STANDING IN THE NEED OF PRAYER.
My primary doctor assigned me a few weeks ago to undergo a CT scan of my lungs. He said the bottom of my lungs had COLLAPSED.............
Now those who really know me KNOW that that meant (for me) ENDLESS hours on WEBMD, self-diagnosing myself. And it did not look good for the home team-according to the all-wise internet “experts.”
I HAVE to confess the terrible word-F-E-A-R.
BUT, thanks to PRAYER, the CT scan was ALL positive and barring another part of my OLD body blowing out, it looks like I am gonna' live to fight the devil another day!
PRAISE THE LORD!! THANK YOU JESUS!!
GOD ANSWERS PRAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But that is not what I want to report today so much.
Little Amanda spends much of her life crying uncontrollably. There is no rhyme or reason and no plausible solution.
We have tried almost every doctor and every medicine known to man but NOTHING seems to help.
That is the truth but THANK GOD she is still ALIVE 19 plus years later.

THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE IN GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God also answers little PRAYERS-PRAYERS that would seem so insignificant that one hardly dares to breathe.
I had two of these last week.
One night/the same night she was crying for hours and as I tried to lie down with her and get her to sleep, I silently asked God to calm her down and let her sleep.
The next thing I noticed it was 5 AM and we both logged some well needed sleep-PRAISE THE LORD.
That same late night PRAYER included a need of a mechanical part for her recliner that somehow FEDEX had failed to deliver-can you say SMALL, INSIGNIFICANT PRAYERS??
PRAYERS that will not change the world or PRAYERS that do not make headlines in newspapers.
Every frantic call to FEDEX customer service gave me the same result-IMPOSSIBLE to deliver to me in time.
BUT I PRAYED..................
FEDEX sent a private courier to my house on a Saturday and her chair is today fixed-PRAISE THE LORD!!!
Today brethren, can we say with Bill and Gloria Gaither:
“IF YOU HAVE A NEED I KNOW HE HAS THE ANSWER.
REACH OUT AND CLAIM IT CHILD YOU ARE STANDING ON HOLY GROUND!!”
