At this time, these documents are marked as “DRAFT” documents. They will not change, but they will be marked as such until February 1, 2021, when they are officially effective.
Residential Care Services (RCS) and Department of Health (DOH) will proceed with the training webinar scheduled for January 28 from 3:00 – 4:00 PM regarding the LTC Safe Start Plan focusing on these updated documents. They are working to schedule an additional training webinar, and we will share the date of the second training event as soon as we receive it from RCS and/or DOH. A Dear Administrator letter will be forthcoming from RCS. When it is shared, we will provide a notification and overview in the COVID update following its distribution.
If you have any questions about the updated plan and documents, please email Vicki McNealley or Elena Madrid. It is especially important that you not make any adjustments or changes as allowed in these documents until February 1, 2021.
