WHS PTSO Faculty/Staff Gratitude Project
The WHS PTSO sponsored a faculty/staff gratitude day on February 14 by preparing a display of heartfelt, handwritten student messages in support of faculty and staff. A coffee and smoothie cart was also hosted for the morning to help our faculty and staff refuel.

We would like to say thank you to our amazing WHS PTSO volunteers, Meridith Edmonds (co-VP) and Lauren Sumner, who planned, organized and executed this major undertaking, as well as to the NHS students who created the beautiful display.

Class of 2023 Parent Social
Volunteers are needed to help the officers of the Class of 2023 organize a social event for parents of junior students. Although a final date has not yet been set, one possibility would be to hold the event the same evening as the Class of 2023 boat cruise.

If you are a parent/guardian/caregiver of a current junior and would like to help organize this event, please email WHSPTSOPres@gmail.com.
Join the WEF Spelling Bee!
Want to have fun and support a great cause? Adults in our WHS PTSO community are invited to join the WHS PTSO-sponsored team in this year's WEF Spelling Bee taking place on April 6 at 7:00 pm. Three adult members from our community are needed to form a team. Learn more about this wonderful annual tradition using this link. If you are interested in representing the WHS PTSO at this fun event, email WHSPTSOPres@gmail.com.
Support the Nurse's Office
The WHS Nursing Office still needs your help! Use this link to sign up to bring in a box (or two!) of snacks so the Nursing Office may continue to offer snacks to students who visit the office during the school day.

Suggestions include granola bars, pretzels, gluten-free snacks, goldfish and crackers. Please put donations in the collection bin labeled "Nursing Office Donations" in the front vestibule at the high school next to the bookshelf.
Reminder: Spring Sports - Physicals Due by March 14
Sport physicals are due in the Nurse’s Office by Monday, March 14.

All student-athletes are required to have a current physical examination on file in the Nurse’s Office before a student can try out, practice or participate in a sport as required by the MIAA guidelines.

The Athletic Office or individual coaches will not accept physical examination reports.

If your student has a current physical examination on file in the Nurse’s Office and it is NOT due to expire you do not need to provide another copy.

If your student’s physical exam expires during the sports season, your student will no longer be able to participate until a new physical examination has been obtained and is on file in the Nurse’s Office.

PLEASE NOTE: Late submission of physicals delays the student from any athletic activity until all the registration requirements are completed.
