The WHS School Council serves as the legislative branch of the school government. School Council is responsible for conducting open discussions and making recommendations on matters of school policy, school culture, curriculum and other issues brought to its attention from its respective constituencies of the Student Congress, Faculty Senate, PTSO, local residents and the principal.
Each year, the WHS parent/guardian community elects two representatives to serve on the WHS School Council for a two-year term. This year, we have thirteen candidates running for two open positions. The two elected individuals will serve on WHS School Council for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years.
