In addition to the incumbents' records, each of the three challengers has  a"record".  I have provided original source data to substantiate every statement below.  All I ask is that you take the time to read the documents and make an informed decision before you cast your votes.

Why I cannot vote for Carter Paysinger : 

Carter Paysinger is the antithesis of what public service should be about.  Carter Paysinger used his position of public trust to personally profit from the students he was charged to serve and lied about it to his immediate supervisor (Gary Woods) and members of the Board of Education (Jake Manaster and me). Carter Paysinger violated the public trust and promoted family and business associates over more and better qualified candidates.

1.       Jason Newman- promoted to Co-Athletic Director; promoted to Dean of Discipline while serving as  Director of Beverly Hills Sports Academy

2.       Vonzie Paysinger - promoted to Co- Athletic Director; Head Baseball Coach; claims to have served as a "Secret" Director of Beverly Hills Sports Academy

3.       Howard Edelman - promoted to Chair, Physical Education; Director of Beverly Hills Sports Academy

The list of friends and family members who received choice assignments, extra assignments, and who also worked for the Beverly Hills Sports Academy reads like a who's who of Beverly Hills High School staff. Can you imagine what Carter will do if elected to the Board of Education, especially to anyone who was not on his "Team?" His track record is clear; Carter puts his own personal financial interest ahead of any other consideration.

Carter Paysinger makes terrible personnel choices:  Aside from promoting family members or friends who worked for his Sports Academy, Carter promoted his personal secretary June Tapscott-Bazzi to oversee the ASB Funds rather than a more qualified resident applicant.  Ms. Tapscott-Bazzi was convicted of a felony for stealing over $20,000 from the ASB Accounts of our students. Now we all know what Carter Paysinger means when he talks about "bleeding" Beverly, literally bleeding Beverly Hills of our public funds.  Do not take my word for it review what the Los Angeles Times wrote

Carter Paysinger failed as Principal of Beverly Hills High School:

While Carter Paysinger was busy promoting his book and selling the movie rights, Beverly Hills High School entered into Program Improvement Status, a designation from the state of poor performance. Carter Paysinger was too busy on his book tour and lobbying to win election as President of California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) SportsLeagueCIF  to be bothered with running the High School and instead delegated the response to this crisis to his assistant principals.  Carter Paysinger was MIA (missing in action) for two years as Principal while Beverly Hills High School trended downwards.

Chronology of Events:

Carter Paysinger, Vonzie Paysinger and Jason Newman recommend not renewing the contract of Jeffrey Fisher, Head Track & Field and Cross Country Coach (4 years). 

Spring of 2013 - Mr. Fisher and about 70 parents and students attend a public board meeting to raise concerns about why Mr. Fisher was not renewed as Head Coach.  The accusations include coercion by Carter Paysinger, Jason Newman, Vonzie Paysinger and Howard Edelman regarding forcing track & field and cross country runners to attend the Beverly Hills Sports Academy. June of 2013 - The Board of Education instructs Dr. Woods to open an internal investigation.  Carter Paysinger initially lies to Dr. Woods (his direct supervisor) about having any involvement in the Sports Academy since he became Principal.  Carter Paysinger also lied to me and Jake Manaster (two sitting board members) about having any involvement in the Sports Academy since he became Principal.

July of 2013 - Carter Paysinger refuses to cooperate with Dr. Woods' investigation and to provide any documentation regarding his involvement with the Sports Academy Carter's Deposition

Winter of 2014 - Carter Paysinger quickly filed amended tax returns for 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and amended his Form 700 once he was caught in his lies Carter's Deposition

July of 2014 - Only after Board initiated independent investigation into Carter Paysinger shows he violated District policies, Education Code and Government Code does he file suit claiming racism and breaks the news of his law suit on the TMZ web site, coincidentally  just before his book is to be released in November 2014.  CarterbreaksnewsonTMZ 

November of 2014 - Carter Paysinger's book "Where a Man Stands" "co-authored" with Steven Fenton opens with lack luster sales and Carter Paysinger conducts PR tours, book signings, and interviews during school hours to help promote his book and secure the sale of the movie rights.

Carter Paysinger violated his employment contract, district policies and procedures when he used Beverly Hills High School to conduct interviews to promote his book "co-authored" with Steven Fenton.   Carter Paysinger did not seek or file an application and agreement for use of facilities, Carter did not seek permission from any administrators prior to his use of BHHS.  Carter Paysinger thinks he is above state laws, district policies and procedures.  Do not take my word for it watch the video which proves Carter was conducting interviews during school and work hours for his own personal benefit

Unauthorized use of District Property for Personal Profit

After "bleeding" Beverly Hills for hundreds of thousands of dollars and besmirching the entire Beverly Hills community with his false claims of racism, Carter states that he will restore the reputation of the District that he was responsible for tarnishing. That is the definition of chutzpah! Chutzpah
