The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) works to provide meaning to performance measurement information as a way to improve the quality of healthcare in Wisconsin. Recently, the WCHQ updated several performance results pertaining to the WI CCC Plan 2015-2020, including: Adult BMI Control, Breast Cancer Screening, Cervical Cancer Screening, Colorectal Cancer Screening, and Tobacco User Receiving Cessation Advice.

Johns Hopkins University HPV Vaccine Uptake Course
To address the challenges of HPV vaccination uptake, a free CME course is being offered by Johns Hopkins University and hosted by CME University. The course, which offers support and proven strategies to encourage HPV vaccine uptake, requires approximately 60 minutes and offers credit for physicians. HPV is a common virus which can develop into several different types of cancers in both males and females. Despite the opportunity to decrease cancers associated with HPV, the completion rate has continuously lagged behind other physician recommended vaccines for adolescents.
