Call for Papers   is officially open!
We're accepting submissions for call for papers and presentations!  The submission deadline is  October 13, 2017 . We look forward to reviewing your proposal and will provide notification of acceptance by  October 31, 2017

  • All presentations will be 50 minutes in length. 
  • Symposiums are welcome!
  • Presenters will need to register for the conference
  • Men and women of all backgrounds are encouraged to submit.
  • If your presentation submission is not accepted for the 2018 conference, we may suggest the authors present it as a poster. 
  • CEUs - The conference organizers can further discuss with you if your presentation meets criteria for providing CEUs adn what type of CEU. If authors and organizers agree that it does, we will reach out to you at a later date and request the CVs, attestation forms and approval for the syllabus from all presenters for our records as an approved ACE Provider.
  • Review process - Three independent reviewers will be assembled to review your submission for:
    • Content useful to the field or the mission of WIBA
    • Topic is appropriate for the allotted time period (50 minutes)
    • Presenter has the qualifications to present on the topic
  • All behavior analytic topics are suitable for WIBA, however, we do encourage presentations related to:
    • Women in Research- An opportunity for women authors or co-authors to share their innovative research in behavior analysis - applied or basic! Attendees want to experience more data-based presentations.
    • Professional Skills- An opportunity for women to hone their professional skills and their ability to handle difficult situations competently. 
      • Presentations may feature information on: negotiations, mentorship, leadership, organizational behavior management topics, marketing or performance feedback as examples.
    • Women's Issues- Presentations may feature information on gender pay gap, harassment, discrimination, tributes to historic female figures of behavior analysis and/or contributions and equal representation.
    • Outside the Box- Women applying behavior analysis to word problems or people applying behavior analysis to address women's issues.
