WELCOME FROM 2019 WIBA CHAIRMAN

Welcome to 2019! It is an honor to be the Chairman of the Board for WIBA this year as we continue growing the best organization for business in Wichita. I have had the privilege of working with several organizations in the area and I have not seen another one that offers more opportunities for involvement! Monthly there are luncheons with great speakers who will educate, inform and inspire. We will also have mixers monthly. Visit wiba.org to find more information.

The 2019 WIBA Kickoff is coming up January 31; Small Business Day in Topeka is March 6; and Disney's Approach to Leadership Excellence is September 25 - the fourth year hosting a Disney Institute event. We will continue with our Business Growth Initiative, which assists with company growth and the creation and fulfillment of jobs in our area for both members and non-members. We will continue to expand our use of technology to share information and again, I will point you to our website for all the information about WIBA.

Your opinion matters; if you have questions or suggestions please let me, or any of our board members, ambassadors, or one of our amazing staff members, know. We depend on our members and we are here for our members. I look forward to another great year with WIBA!

2019 WIBA KICKOFF - JAN. 31

Join us for this annual event featuring a cocktail hour and dinner followed by a brief business meeting and a recap of accomplishments, concluding with a keynote speech by Chad Porter.

Chad Porter is one of the nation’s most inspirational and motivational speakers. He has been speaking for 20 years, telling his amazing story of overcoming obstacles, perseverance, dealing with life’s challenges while inspiring hundreds of thousands in the process.
