JANUARY 2023

Thank you, Judy Rank!

WIHA is grateful for the many contributions made to support family caregivers by Judy Rank who has for several years supported the Powerful Tools for Caregivers program. As Judy's time with WIHA is ending, we remain deeply appreciative for her expertise in caregiver support and her dedication to the program and the leaders who provide it in communities around the state.

Join the Falls Free WI Coalition!

The Falls Free Wisconsin Coalition is an alliance of individuals and organizations working together to prevent falls in Wisconsin. There's much to do and it will take a large, diverse, energetic coalition of individuals and organizations to make a population-level impact. That's why we need you! We invite local falls or injury prevention coalitions, community-based organizations, senior service providers, public safety and emergency services groups, health care providers and others in Wisconsin to join us.

If you missed it . . .

WIHA Office Hours

If you weren't able to join us for January Office Hours, you can catch up by checking out the recording below.

This month we heard from Wisconsin DHS epidemiologist Lena Swander who discussed data on health behaviors in Wisconsin as related to diabetes. We also provided an update on WIHA's Falls Free Wisconsin Center development and met some of the Localizing Efforts to Address Falls (LEAF) grantees.

As always, if you have questions, please contact us.
