5 Ways to Assist WINGS this Holiday Season | |
|
In 2023, the Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline received more than 47,000 contacts. This equates to a 27% increase over 2022 and a 90% increase from pre-pandemic 2019. For 124 days in 2023, domestic violence shelters in Chicago had no beds available for survivors to flee to.
A donation of any amount can make a positive impact on the lives of survivors. With your support and others, we can expand our services in Chicago and the suburbs, ensuring survivors have the resources they need to gain their independence and break the cycle of violence.
