Strong Women is Not

the Luck of the Irish!

March 1, 2024 | Simi Valley, CA

March Madness Month

Presidents Message

The Luck of the Irish...

So, we all know that in March everyone proclaims to be Irish. Well, I’m Irish all year round. With a maiden name of McCoy, there’s no denying it. I know you’ve heard them say “it’s the luck of the Irish” but one thing I know for certain is that being Irish doesn’t mean you are lucky in business or life! You must be dedicated, persistent and determined to be successful in every aspect of life. I am lucky to have good friends, a wonderful husband and family and a successful business. There is a difference between being lucky and having luck.

Stephen Leacock is quoted as saying: “I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.”

You alone create your luck and your success; may you have it in abundance!

Warm regards,

Jan

March & St. Patrick's Day Trivia

March 20: The sun shines on the equator for the Vernal Equinox, giving us a near 50-50 split of day & night.

Q: Where and when was the first St. Patrick's Day parade ever recorded?

A: St. Augustine, Florida, in 1601. The area was then a Spanish colony, but it had an Irish vicar.

your business a little

bit more?

You can do this by being a Table Talker... Or Bringing Desserts, and or Provide the Centerpieces for our WINS Meetings.

Orrrr....

Bring a door

prize to the next luncheon. Be sure to attach your business card and be prepared to say a short message

about your gift.

Ideas for Centerpieces

At each luncheon members enjoy receiving the centerpieces. I’m sure some of you would like to display

your creative talents but may be uncertain as to what to give. I suggest you partner up with someone

else.

This year one of the board members has chosen a month to partner up with a member.

Here are

some suggestions that have proven successful in the past:

$5 Gift cards to Starbucks along

with some chocolate.. A home entertainment basket filled with candy, popcorn and other are always nice.

I look forward to seeing what you create!

Did you know?

Q: What are the odds of finding a "lucky" four-leaf clover?

A: Trick question! A Google search may tell you 1 in 10,000, but the real answer has not been proven.

March is National Health Observances: Nutrition, Colorectal Cancer, and HIV/AIDS.

NASA astronaut Scott Kelly returned to Earth after nearly one full year on the International Space Station, setting a new record for the longest uninterrupted trip to space.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! May you find a Pot of Gold at the end of the Rainbow!

I'm thrilled to share a bit about myself. I call Chatsworth home, where I live with my wonderful husband and two kids. With a background rooted in the fashion industry, I've always had a passion for helping people pursue their dreams and grow their businesses. That passion led me to establish Enove Agency, a full-service branding and digital marketing agency.

At Enove, we're not just about providing services; we're all about creating genuine connections.

Our agency is more than just a service provider; it's a community that values understanding, supporting, and amplifying the unique stories behind each brand.

Beyond the business realm, you'll often find me expressing my creativity through my love for cooking and entertaining. I am also a docent at the Reagan Library. I love it because it is fulfilling to contribute to educational experiences.

My story is a blend of professional success and a commitment to building meaningful connections. Enove Agency is a reflection of my dedication to bringing warmth, authenticity, and a personal touch to the realms of branding and digital marketing.
