Presidents Message

May Inspirations:

We often meet people who make a lasting impression in our life.   Zig Zigler is one of those people. I had read his books, listened to his motivational tapes and then finally had the opportunity to meet him in person. As you know, I love to hug and I gave him a really big hug. His words had inspired me so much! A hug was the only thing I could offer to thank him for the inspiration he gave me! He even commented that it was one of the best hugs he had ever had, because it came from the heart.

I’m certain there are those individuals famous, or not, whose words have influenced your actions and way of thinking. I encourage you to write down their advice and share it with others. As Zig Zigler often said:

“You will get all you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want.”

Warm regards,

Jan

Our May 22nd Meeting has CHANGED to a fun offsite “Game Night”!

May’s networking luncheon has been changed to our annual offsite event and this year we have chosen to have a fun “Game Night”. Find out just how competitive your WINS sisters are!

We will be playing “LCR” (Left Center Right) and “Win Lose or Draw”! You can play one, both or just watch fellow members most likely end up being silly entertainment!

To play LCR, you will need to bring 3 (yes three!) $1.00 bills to participate. We will try to play a few games, so much like Vegas, bring extra and decide as you go what you would like to play.

To play Win, Lose or Draw, bring your drawing skills and a good sense of humor.

Dinner will be served and you will be able to choose from a menu provided by Corner Bakery. There will be limited wine provided, so feel free to bring your favorite bottle to enjoy or share.

Location:

Amy Corneau's home

3079 Waco Ave.

Simi Valley

6PM - 8PM

Cost: $28.50 for members

$30.50 for guests

Menu options from Corner Bakery – Please RSVP to this link:

https://www.womensinfonetwork.com/rsvp

Dessert, wine, soft drinks and water are included.

There will be a special gift for everyone attending

Get ready to enjoy an evening of networking and fun!

Board Member Spotlight

Rebeca Golden

In my previous life BC (Before Children), I was an actress with an acting career that spanned 15 years. Seven of those years I was a series regular on an ABC TV sitcom called Perfect Strangers. After the series ended, I continued to make appearances in TV and film before marrying my husband Roger and welcoming our two daughters in 1997 and 2000. I retired from acting to raise our girls. As they got older, I started looking for something to do

A college friend of mine suggested I be a cabi stylist. I always loved the wardrobe portion of my work because I always felt that clothes make the character. In the Fall of 2016 I began my cabi career. I love helping women find their look and build a functioning wardrobe. Cabi is a community of women helping women and that is a huge draw for me.
