As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say thank you for being part of our journey. Your trust, support, and shared love for beautiful spaces mean more to us than we can say. This season, we’re reflecting on the projects that inspired us, the clients who became friends, and the creativity that made it all possible.
Meet the team: Halen is originally from the beautiful Tybee Island, Georgia. After graduating from Georgia Southern University, she moved to Atlanta, where she’s been a full-time designer at Kat Nelson Designs for nearly three years.
With a passion for creativity, Halen loves all things fashion, crafting, and interior design. In her free time, you can find her spending time with friends and family, shopping, trying new restaurants, cheering on the Braves with her husband, or soaking up the energy of the Atlanta Beltline. Halen’s favorite part of working at Kat Nelson Designs is the incredible team she gets to collaborate with and the opportunity to create unique, functional, and beautiful spaces tailored to each client’s personal style.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Kathy has always had a love for design and beautiful spaces. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Interior Design, and now lives in Alpharetta GA. She joined Kat Nelson Designs in the Fall, and has loved being part of a team that shares her same excitement. Kathy has been married for 32 years, and is the proud mom of 3 kids, and one beloved aussie doodle named Shaggy. When she is not working, you can almost always find her on the tennis court, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or traveling with family and friends. Enjoying the balance of work, and living life to the fullest, is what she looks forward to every day!
