We've really enjoyed everyone taking part in our WINTER SALE, coming in to shop or visiting us online.
Just a friendly reminder that the savings continue.
Here's a quick rundown of what you'll find:

VALENTINE'S DAY
If you're on the lookout for something really special for Valentine's Day - Feb. 14, of course - we hope you'll consider the offerings found at both Maria Luisa Boutique and ML by Maria Luisa. If you're looking for something playful, we've got it (socks or zippered totes with quirky sayings anyone?). Something romantic? Yep, think a candle with a rich scent, a cookbook to whip up a treat for two - or a red-hued necklace for that someone special. And, as you would imagine, we have plenty of options if you're in search of that perfect outfit for a special evening (in) - or out!
ML BY MARIA LUISA SCHOLARSHIP
We are pleased to announce that applications are now available for our 2018-2019 academic year scholarships, to be presented this spring.
In brief, the award recognizes Rockland County hig
h school seniors, female or those who identify as female*, who - through their
actions or beliefs, embrace the principals of ML by Maria Luisa: civic and community involvement, commitment to social justice, social equality, and environment/eco-friendly lifestyles. This year, two $1000.00 scholarships will be awarded: one to a promising woman who is a senior attending a private or public Rockland County high school (must be a Rockland County resident), and one to a promising woman who is a senior attending Nyack High School, to assist with costs in attending a college of their choice. *Candidates who identify as women will be considered regardless of sex assigned at birth. Well-rounded students who demonstrate a significant commitment of volunteer service to our community are encouraged to apply.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN
It's still months away - but the ML Faves for Good Team for this year's Women's Distance Festival is already forming.
We hope you'll plan to join us July 13 as we again take part in this annual event - this year's is the 32nd edition - to support the work of the Center for Safety & Change. The 5K Run/Walk will again be held at Rockland Lake State Park in Congers. Maria Luisa Boutique is both a participant and sponsor; we hope you'll join the effort by participating - or simply making a much-appreciated donation.

What? You say Earth Day isn't until April... yes, but as you know "every day is Earth Day" for us, so we just again offer a gentle reminder to join us in caring for our planet. Be mindful, recycle - and remember to bring your own bags wherever you go.
