“Recuerdos Desechables” es el último sencillo del próximo álbum de la banda, cuyo lanzamiento está previsto para 2023.

Con energía eléctrica y una creatividad extraordinaria, la banda mexicana de rock alternativo Wiplash continúa dando adelantos de lo que será su muy esperado segundo álbum de estudio, lanzando hoy “Recuerdos Desechables” (Nakama Entretenimiento, Rebeleon Entertainment y Virgin Music US Latin), el último sencillo de un proyecto que promete llevar al grupo a un nuevo y emocionante nivel en su carrera.

Definido por una composición explosiva rica en potentes riffs de guitarra y un ritmoenvidiable, “Recuerdos Desechables” es una inmersión profunda en el increíble poder de los recuerdos y su capacidad para dominar nuestros pensamientos hasta que finalmente podamos dejarlos ir. La canción nos invita a buscar el botón para desconectar el corazón de la mente y encontrar la puerta que nos permita escapar de la obsesión de revivir una y otra vez determinados momentos de nuestra vida intentando extraerles un nuevo sentido. Solo entonces esos momentos perderán su control sobre nosotros, convirtiéndose en “Recuerdos Desechables”.

Wiplash ha experimentado un notable 2022 hasta ahora. Después de lanzar “Aprendiendo A Amar” con la estrella de la música regional mexicana Adriel Favela (Fonovisa / UMG Recordings) y “Señales”, una composición original del icónico compositor mexicano José Madero, los cuales se incluirán en su próximo álbum, el mes pasado, la banda obtuvo su primer- nominación al Latin Grammy®  en la categoría “Mejor Álbum de Rock” por su álbum debut ‘RPDF’. A finales de esta semana, los días 7 y 8 de octubre, la banda formará parte del Festival Coordenada de México, y el 28 de octubre presentará HALLOWIPLASH en Monterrey.

Los Premios Grammy Latinos® 2022 se llevarán a cabo el jueves 17 de noviembre y se transmitirán en vivo por Univision desde el Michelob Ultra Arena en el Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino en Las Vegas a las 8 p.m. EST.

(October 7, 2022). With electric energy and extraordinary creativity, Mexican alt-rock band Wiplash continues to tease what will be their highly anticipated second studio album, today releasing “Recuerdos Desechables,” (Nakama Entretenimiento, Rebeleon Entertainment y Virgin Music US Latin), the latest single from a project that promises to take the group to an exciting new level in their career.

Defined by an explosive composition rich with potent guitar riffs and enviable rhythm,“Recuerdos Desechables” is a deep dive into the incredible power of memories and their ability to dominate our thoughts until we are finally able to let them go. The song invites us to search for the button to disconnect our hearts from our minds and to find the door that will allow us to escape from the obsession of reliving certain times in our lives again and again while attempting to extract new meaning from them. It is only then that those moments will lose their control over us, becoming “Recuerdos Desechables,” or disposable memories.

Wiplash has experienced a remarkable 2022 so far. After releasing “Aprendiendo A Amar” featuring regional Mexican music star Adriel Favela and “Señales,” an original composition by the iconic Mexican songwriter José Madero, both of which will be included on their upcoming album, last month, the band garnered their first-ever Latin Grammy nomination in the “Best Rock Album” category for their debut album “RPDF.” Later this week, on October 7 and 8, the band will form part of Mexico’s Festival Coordenada, and on October 28 they will host HALLOWIPLASH in Monterrey.

The 2022 Latin Grammy® Awards will take place on Thursday, November 17, and will be broadcast live on Univision from the Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas at 8PM EST.
