Senator Manchin
Our virtual Fall Member Meeting will be held Oct. 28-29th. Once again, we are disappointed to not be able to meet in person, but we have organized a compelling slate of discussion topics and speakers for Thurs. Oct. 29th. WIRES is honored to welcome Senator Joseph Manchin (D-WV) as our keynote speaker. Senator Manchin serves as ranking member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. He also serves on the Senate Committee on Appropriations among other committee assignments.

Additionally, we will feature two panel discussions: Integration of Renewables and Impact on Transmission, and Resilience and the Grid. We are delighted that Joe Kelliher, former EVP of Federal Regulatory Affairs at NextERA Energy and former FERC Chairman will join us on the Renewables panel, and the Hon. Rick Mroz, Senior Advisor to Protect our Power, and former President, NJ Board of Public Utilities will be among our speakers on resilience. For a list of all our esteemed panelists, please download the meeting agenda and program.
