I would like to wish each of our members a Happy New Year! I hope that your holiday was filled with family, fun and of course a bit of relaxation. It brings me much excitement to announce that at the beginning of the year the new WISE Cleveland website officially launched and is up and running. The site is currently housed under the WISE National website,
www.wiseworks.org and can be found by clicking on the "our chapters" tab at the top of the page. The new website will outline upcoming events, recap of past events, news articles and job postings.
Our social media outlets (@wisecleveland) remain as another great way of staying in touch with the chapter and will continue to highlight upcoming events as well as events taking places in other chapters across the country.
As always we encourage feedback from our members and ask you submit any and all suggestions to
wise_cle@wiseworks.org.

Member Spotlight - Ana Volsko
Director of Operations at SMG / Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland
Why did you join WISE? We had just moved back to the Cleveland Area after spending some time in New Hampshire for my career. I wanted to get involved so that I could grow my network in the area and find a job. I ended up being on the committee for WISE woman of the year luncheon that year.
What's your dream job? I don't like to think of my path as a single job end goal. I've been very lucky to work in an industry that I thoroughly enjoy and have been able to see multiple sides and sub-sections of the industry. I'd like to be able to look back and say that I lead a successful team, that my team members grew and we had a positive impact on our organization.
Hobbies/Favorite Past Time: Spending time with family and anything Harry Potter

Your favorite quote: Ships don't sink because of the water around them, they sink because of the water that gets in them. - Don't let what happens around you get inside you and weigh you down.
