During the COVID-19 pandemic, WISHIN offered free access to the WISHIN Pulse system to assist health care providers in receiving essential medical records from hospitals and clinics for their patients. The vast majority of organizations that signed up for WISHIN during the free trial have chosen to continue as WISHIN Pulse participants.

WISHIN has also expanded access to Milwaukee-area municipal health departments to assist them in their work. The Milwaukee-area municipal health departments have also continued their participation past the trial period.

Long-tenured payer and provider organizations have been using WISHIN Pulse at record levels over the past several months as well, finding the information valuable in clinical decision making, ensuring efficient patient continuity of care, and in care coordination.

“WISHIN pulse is the key to knowing where our patients are in the community health system. It allows us to better assist our Medicaid population to navigate the health care system by giving us up-to-date activity.”
–Christine Thompson
Director of Quality and Clinical Services
Independent Physicians Network/ Trilogy Health
Insurance/ACO of Southeast Wisconsin

“Many times our patients come here and don’t know what ED they’ve been [to], what was done, or what medications were prescribed. WISHIN gives us quick access to look up this essential information. I am thankful to have access to this helpful tool!!”
