2026 WLALA Awards Dinner & Installation Dinner

WLALA celebrated the installation of WLALA’s 2026-2027 leadership, including its Board of Governors, Board of Directors, Foundation Board, and Executive Committee. At the gala, WLALA honored The Genie Harrison Law Firm with the Trailblazer Award, Catherine Lhamon with the Distinguished Service Award, and the Women of Signature Resolution with the Advancement of Women Award. Congratulations to all honorees and 2026-2027 board members and please enjoy photos from the gala and photobooth!

BINDHU VARGHESE

Bindhu Varghese is an experienced litigator at McCune & Harber, LLP whose career reflects a commitment to advocacy, service, and equity. With more than 14 years of litigation experience, Bindhu has handled matters through all phases of litigation and brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to her work. Her career has included public-interest advocacy with the Inner City Law Center, where she represented and advocated for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Bindhu is also an active member and leader within the Los Angeles legal community. She serves on WLALA’s Board of Directors as Chair of the Equity, Belonging & Anti-Racism Committee. Through her professional and community involvement, Bindhu exemplifies the values of advocacy, inclusion, and service that are central to WLALA’s mission and at the forefront of Bindhu’s work. Bindhu volunteers at St. James Episcopal Church Soup Kitchen, which serves hot food and provides a safe haven to the unhoused in her neighborhood. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and McGeorge School of Law, Bindhu is committed to advancing the principles of equity and belonging in all aspects of her life.
