A Message from Our President

Welcome to the first Wednesday Music Club Newsletter of the 2019-2020 season with its exciting brand new look ! And this is not all that's new either. The new editor of the Newsletter, Ann Etchison, was welcomed by the Board of Directors at its opening meeting of the year on September 4, and you are currently receiving the product of her efforts.

More "new" - ?? If you received the President's Letter in the mail, along with the Luncheon reservation form, you already know that I am serving as your new President this year and look forward to greeting all of you next month at our kick-off luncheon. I am happy to report to you that a great deal was accomplished by WMC's Board at our initial meeting and that we all look forward to a productive and exciting year ahead. Rest assured that your Board is working hard to finalize all the details essential to a smooth running of the Club for yet another season - our 96th!!

---Warmest Wishes, Corky Sablinsky, President

Fall Luncheon Reminder

Our opening Program and Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd at Farmington Country Club. You should have received a luncheon reservation form with the President's Letter earlier this month. Click here for a new form and email Linda Smith with any questions.

Plan to arrive around 9:45 to chat with friends and new members, pick up your name badges, place cards, and yearbooks, and find your table. Our President will provide welcoming remarks and give highlights of the coming year, and then we'll enjoy the program. You won't want to miss this.

After the program there will be more time to chat and to purchase a glass of wine before lunch. And don't forget about inviting guests! What a great opportunity this is to introduce the WMC to a musical friend or two.

Please return your form ASAP and no later than Saturday, September 21.
