Whitnall Middle School Message
October 2, 2020

Hello WMS Families,

It's hard to believe that we are already into the month of October. Since October is bullying prevention month, as a special event, WMS is planning a dynamic and entertaining virtual presentation with guest speaker Matt Wilhelm. Matt Wilhelm is a BMX Flatland rider and motivational speaker. See his website linked here for more information about him and his school programs.

As the weather gets cooler and we begin to prepare for the possibility of snow, please remind your WMS students to dress for the weather. Students will continue to go outside through fall and into the winter months. Recess, outdoor class activities, and trips to our Whitnall School Forest are good opportunities for students to get exercise and take breaks from wearing the masks.

Mr. Relich and I want to continue to thank our students, both distance learning and face-to-face, and our families and staff for a great start to the year during these challenging times. Everyone is doing their best to stay safe, while focusing on learning and growing together. Let's keep it up!
