WHA Webinar: Repeal Gun Free Zones

Repeal Gun Free Zones HB125 Review Webinar

April 2, 2024

10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

The "Wyoming Repeal Gun Free Zones Act" has been vetoed by the Governor. However, there may be a special session to revive the bill. Either way, the Wyoming Hospital Association will still be having this webinar to review existing law and to address what the new legislation means and how it applies if it's enacted.

The “Wyoming Repeal Gun Free Zones Act,” will be presented by Nick Healey and Claire Postman of Husch Blackwell LLP and will deal with the status of Wyoming’s firearms laws and what they mean for Wyoming’s public and private hospitals. Nick and Claire will break down the proposed law, dissect how it may interact with local ordinances and other regulations, and highlight what hospitals need to know about what they can and can’t do at their facilities with respect to firearms. Members will have an opportunity to ask questions about the new law.
