The 2024-2025 WLM Cohort spent their fourth weekend in Casper. Thanks to our WLM alumni, Dr. Beth Robitaille, and her team the WLM crew facilitated their curriculum learning at the University of Wyoming Family Medicine Residency facility. When all was said and done, our WLM learners volunteered at Food Bank of the Rockies filling more than 300 mobile pantry boxes, painted pottery, and dedicated more than eight hours to classroom learning about enhanced leadership skills.

The Wyoming Medical Society is proud to have gathered members from every corner of the state and across specialties for this year's conference. 

We truly appreciate the time and effort it takes to attend an in-person conference, and we will continue working diligently to curate the most meaningful experiences for our members!

WMS is already planning for next year's conference and we'd like your input! Please take a second to answer one quick question regarding the date of the 2025 conference!

WMS opens a call for nominations for AMA Delegate Positions.

AMA Delegate

The Delegate to the American Medical Association (“AMA Delegate”) shall be a member of the Board and shall attend and represent this Society at all meetings of the House of Delegates of the American Medical Association in regular or special sessions. A report of said meetings shall be submitted regularly to the Board as well as to the members at the Annual Meeting.

Stephen Brown, MD (Casper) holds the current AMA Delegate position. Dr. Brown is seeking a subsequent term as the WMS AMA Delegate.

AMA Alternate Delegate

The Alternate Delegate to the American Medical Association (“Alternate Delegate”) shall assume the duties of the AMA Delegate in his/her absence or disability and may attend all meetings of the AMA in regular or special sessions.

Paul Johnson, MD (Cheyenne) holds the current AMA Alternate Delegate position. Dr. Johnson is not seeking a subsequent term as the WMS AMA Alternate Delegate.

Call for Doc/PA of the Day volunteers for the 2025 Legislative Session.

The Wyoming Medical Society needs volunteers daily for the duration of the legislative session. Doc/PA of the Day volunteers have the opportunity to meet with state legislators, are introduced on the floor of the House and Senate Chambers, and help ensure legislators see that Wyoming physicians and PAs care!

You must be a WMS member to serve as Doc/PA of the Day. Please consider making time to volunteer this year!
