Summer Reading
Reading good books during the summer is one of the best ways to keep you engaged in new ideas. Not only will it enlist your imagination, but also it will help you continue to gain understanding of yourself, other people, other places, and other times. You can do it just about anywhere-- in the back of your car, on your porch or in your backyard, on your bunk at camp, and especially on a sunny day at the beach. (

Please plan on reading at least two to three books this summer. Students can choose any books to read. For a starting point, please consult the Wayland Middle School Summer Reading List and visit the Wayland Public Library for book recommendations. Now, audiobooks are also an option,

Message to Parents/Students - MBTA CharlieCards:
Current school year student CharlieCards deactivate at midnight on 8/31/19. Please use up all stored value (pay per ride) down to ZERO prior to 8/31 as the MBTA Student Pass Program DOES NOT have the ability to transfer any leftover funds. It is important that students
do not
load September Monthly Passes
onto their current school year CharlieCard as these will auto-deactivate and no longer work after 8/31/19.

SIGN-UP
here. Students can pick their 2019-2020 CharlieCards at the main office in September.
