2024-25 Sibling Application Deadline - January 8, 2024

Dear Families,

I hope you are having a wonderful December. As the calendar prepares to move to January 2024, enrollment season for the 2024-25 school year is in full swing. After winter break, you will receive information about re-enrollment for your children who are currently enrolled at WMS; however, we wanted to contact you today to make you aware of our upcoming sibling application deadline.

Each year, we look forward to welcoming the younger siblings of our current students into the WMS community. We are able to prioritize enrollment for new WMS siblings only for those applications received by January 8, 2024. This year, both our Toddler and Primary classrooms are filled to capacity, and we expect to only be able to accept a limited number of new students to these programs for fall 2024. Please note that new Toddler siblings must be 12 months old on or before August 27, 2024 in order to be prioritized for 2024-25 enrollment. You can find our online application here.

After applying and completing the admissions process, families are invited to complete our enrollment form to secure their space for the upcoming school year. By completing your application and admissions process, you will be first in line to receive your enrollment paperwork when it becomes available.

Camp Montessori Registration Opens January 3 - Limited Spaces Available

Summer may seem far away, but it's time to start planning! Registration for Camp Montessori 2024 will open at 7 a.m. on January 3! Last year, many of our programs filled to capacity, so add that alert to your calendar and don't miss the opportunity for your child(ren) to spend their summer with us! Toddler families should have received an email with a special passcode to register for the Turtles camp program, which is only open to current and incoming Toddler families.

Lower Elementary (6-9) Winter Concert - "The Cuckoo"

Upper Elementary (9-12) Field Trip

Last week, students from the 9-12 Program traveled to the New Castle County Courthouse to view a re-enactment of the court case from the movie Miracle On 34th Street. Even though students knew that the case was a fictional re-enactment, they learned a lot about the judicial branch of government and county court system from an actual judge, alongside the attorneys, bailiffs, court clerks, security professionals, and other courthouse staff members. The class was even selected to view the case from the jury box!
