Get Ready for Camp Montessori - Early Registration Ends Soon

Dear Families,

With a few months of school still ahead, Camp Montessori planning is already in full swing! Here’s a glimpse of what your child can look forward to this summer at WMS.

Our camp-wide theme this year is Color Wars! Each classroom will be assigned a color to represent throughout the summer. Campers will participate in fun, themed activities, including designing their own classroom banner, navigating obstacle courses, competing in relay races and more!

Beyond Color Wars, campers will enjoy plenty of outdoor adventures. Activities will include nature walks through our campus woods, weekly PE sessions with active games and team-building exercises, and both on-site and off-site field trips featuring special guests.

  • Turtles and Pandas (younger groups) will have weekly water play on their playgrounds.
  • Kangaroos, Tigers, Meerkats and Dragons (elementary and older campers) will swim twice a week at Windybush Swim Club, walking there through the woods.
  • All campers will experience exciting off-site field trips and engaging on-campus visits from special guests throughout the summer.

Early registration is now open! Register by March 31, 2025, to receive a 10% discount. Summer camp weeks are filling up quickly—reserve your child’s spot today for an unforgettable Color Wars summer!

I look forward to welcoming returning campers and meeting new faces!

Thank you for helping us Do More!

Thanks to you—our incredible WMS families—Do More 24 was a great success! With your generosity and the support of your extended families and friends, we raised more than $6,500, which, combined with our $5,000 Board of Directors match, brings us even closer to our Annual Fund goal.

If you created a family fundraiser, don’t forget to log your Co-op hours! You’ve earned:

  • One hour for setting up and sharing your fundraising page on social media
  • One additional hour for every five unique donations of $10 or more received through your page

You can enter these hours into FACTS, and if you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to co-op@wmsde.org.

We are so grateful for your support—thank you for helping us Do More for our students, teachers and school!

A Friendly Reminder About Keycards

As the year goes on, we’ve noticed fewer families using their keycards at the doors. For the safety of our community, we ask that all families carry and use their keycards when entering the building.

Keycards are an important security feature and also allow our staff to step away from the front desk as needed to assist a student, family or staff member from time to time. If you’ve misplaced your keycard, you can request a replacement by filling out this form. A $5 fee will be charged to your FACTS account.

For security reasons, if your card is lost, please let us know so we can deactivate it and prevent unauthorized use.

Thank you for helping us keep WMS a safe and welcoming place for everyone!
