Applications Now Open for Village on Main Apartments

 

Many of your have probably seen the new apartments being built next to McDonald’s in Waunakee. This is the new Village on Main community that is workforce housing (low income). Applications are now available for these apartments and occupancy is expected to be sometime in September.


Their property manager will be temporarily working in the Waunakee Neighborhood Connection building until their office is ready at the apartment building. To make an appointment with them, please call (608)453-4532 or fill out their online form at https://www.villageonmainapts.com/contact.

Approved Homebuyer Education Classes

 

The City of Madison is happy to partner with Home Buyers Round Table and Consumer Credit Counseling Service to provide monthly HUD-Approved Homebuyer Education Classes for City of Madison and Dane County residents!

 

Home Buyers Round Table in collaboration with Consumer Credit Counseling Service will be hosting a FREE HUD-Approved Homebuyer Education Class on Saturday, June 25th (8am-3pm)! Take the first step to owning a home by signing up and learning from the experts. Registration is required by June 23rd; register by going to tinyurl.com/3a87ptn9.

 

These workshops go over the following: How much can you afford? How to apply for a mortgage? Credit improvement tips. Barriers that can prevent you from qualifying for a mortgage. What Grant Assistance may be available to you. Certificate of completion is issued upon completion of the education class and a counseling session with a HUD Approved Counselor from Consumer Credit Counseling Service.

Manufacturing & Transportation Career Fair


The Latino Academy of Workforce Development's first Annual The Untapped Workforce – Manufacturing and Transportation Career Fair will take place Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Elver Park in Madison, WI.

 

What is the intention of the event? To introduce and expose career opportunities in the manufacturing and transportation industry. The career fair is FREE and open to the public. 

 

Date: Wednesday, June 22, 2022 

Event time: 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Location: Elver Park, 1250 McKenna Blvd, Madison, WI, 53719 

Activities: resume writing services, activities for kids, and food
