December 2020 Women's Network Leadership Institute

With this last newsletter of 2020, our message is one of gratitude for your support and engagement this year throughout all the challenges and transitions.

The reverberating theme at WNLI in 2020 was resiliency. Dr. Tara Scott, Dawn Mitchell Owens, and Dr. Tami Bolder all graciously shared their expertise on resiliency drawn from their own experiences. These shining examples of women who’ve persevered along with many more guided us through 2020 as a tribe of women determined to forge ahead. We celebrated Women of Achievement in a new and different way. Hundreds of you joined that very special celebration. Thanks to all of you; award winners, attendees, presenters, and sponsors for the consistent support of Women’s Network Leadership Institute’s programming this past year. As a token of our appreciation, we’ve included three recordings for you to watch again. We celebrate the courage, resilience, and perseverance of our community of women.

Tiffany Roper, Founder of Eat Speak Love, LLC recently provided a profound presentation: Expecting Gratitude. Watch the video below to renew your mind and heart this holiday season.

Wishing you all a bright 2021!

New Opportunity in 2021 for Women Business Owners - PeerSpectives Roundtables

If you are a business owner, solopreneur, or know someone who is, I invite you to join a new monthly offering. PeerSpectives Roundtables will meet virtually as a group of 8-12 women business owners to discuss issues that all business owners face, no matter what segment.

Owning a business can be a lonely endeavor in the best of times, and the isolation of COVID has only heightened that challenge. PeerSpectives Roundtables are a place to talk freely in a safe place with peers as the group creates the day’s topic of discussion by a peer-to-peer process facilitated by a certified facilitator.

Who should participate?

WNLI will host two groups and is currently signing up participants for:

Solopreneur PeerSpectives Roundtable: Register Here

2nd Stage Business Roundtable: Register Here

Feel free to e-mail questions about these specific groups: jconrad@greaterakronchamber.org

Other groups will also be offered by the Greater Akron Chamber: Find information here
