A Widow's Mite For Missionaries
acrificial giving in these hard times has sustained us during the pandemic and we’re so grateful! The challenge has been the difficulty in making progress toward our budgetary goals with only a few months to go. Our cash budget is on track (78% raised), but our monthly commitments are over $2000 short of our AGWM goal. We’ll do our best to spend conservatively to manage with less, but will need well over half the additional amount to avoid serious shortfalls affecting our work/office allotments as well as necessary travel funds to provide ministry training to West Indies nationals. Even an additional $1500/month would be less than our original budget when inflation is factored in (average 2.2% every year since 1994). In the region we now serve via Caribbean School of Theology there is only one AGWM resident missionary, so our provision of ministry training is vital to the developing leadership. With presentation opportunities largely limited to Sunday mornings, we regret not being able to visit more churches in the time allotted for itineration.
We know that God is touching lives here and He has asked us to go, reflect His love, and point people to Jesus Christ. Of course, we cannot do this alone. We have an amazing group of partnering churches and individual supporters that stand with us by praying, giving, and even coming alongside of us locally. Perhaps you would allow God to speak to your heart about what He would have you do in Malaga. Right here, on this web portal, you can commit to pray, give financially, or sign up to receive our updates in your email. We would love to have you join our partnership team and we'd love to hear from you!
