Missions Update
May 28, 2020

According to the Assemblies of God office of communications, the church in America will number less than 50 percent European heritage within the next few years. The mission field is definitely in our back yard.
Since becoming aware of these stats, the Wisconsin/Northern Michigan Missions department has become proactive in building on that information. An army of key individuals is being positioned to bring attention to five ethnic people groups within our Network. Included are African American, Asian, Hispanic, Hmong and Native American.
It is imperative that we understand these cultures to effectively see a harvest within each. As God continues to bring more people groups to Northern Michigan and Wisconsin, we intend to broaden our ministry involvement within these various cultures.
In the next few issues of the Missions Update, I intend to introduce you to the leadership team that will serve as liaisons to our Network overall. Please pray that God will open doors for churches to be planted within each of these people groups. “He is not willing that any should perish.”
