WNSL Baseball & Flag Football Times, Vol. 17, Issue 3
Dear Spring Baseball & Flag Football Families,

Unfortunately, it's been a rainy Spring, and we would first and foremost like to thank you all for working with us as we have made many reschedules. With the current forecast it looks like we may be in store for more rain this weekend, so please keep an eye out for reschedule notices.

Also, don't forget there will be NO games played this Saturday at Warner Park due to Steeplechase. Traffic will be heavy so teams playing at Harpeth Hills need to allow plenty of travel time to games! If weather permits, we WILL be playing on Mother's Day. We're sorry to the Moms that you may be spending part of your day at the fields, but it is necessary in order to make up the amount of games that have been missed.

Any Baseball teams that currently practice at FHUMC, please note that their playground has recently been vandalized and mistreated. For this reason we are asking all WNSL participants who are there to stay off of the playground equipment!

All Star Baseball teams are still being formed, but the following are the amount of teams confirmed in each age group: 1-6U, 2-8U, 3-9U, 1-10 U, 2 or 3-11U and 3-12U. We can still accept players for 6U and 11U; if you are interested, please contact Scott .

It's going to be a fast and furious ride to finish out the Spring season with several events coming up, so be sure to review the newsletter in detail and make sure you are in the know!

Thanks again for sticking with us and for choosing WNSL!

It's time to register for Fall Flag Football and Baseball!

Unlike Spring, the Fall Flag Football season is our competitive season with teams showing the skills they may have learned during the Spring season. They will conclude with the Annual Music City Flag Bowl with each winning team receiving tickets to the Music City Bowl Game in December!

There will be two pre-season Football clinics held on August 10th and 17th, with the Jamboree taking place on August 25th. Both Football and Baseball will start the regular season on September 7th.

For Fall Baseball, teams will play a more relaxed season with the intent being on players better learning the game, and if needed, moving up to the division they will enter in Spring 2020.

Registration is open now for Pre-K - 11th Grade Boys & Girls for Flag Football and Pre-K - 15 year olds for Baseball.

Register Now before you forget during your fun summer break!
The end of season Flag Football Tournament is set to kick-off on Sunday, May 19th. Depending on the weather, teams will also play during the week before wrapping up the tournament on Saturday, May 25th. Please make sure you will still be in town, and if not, please let your coach know ASAP so he/she can make sure your team will have enough players to compete.

This tournament is double elimination and unless we are told otherwise, each team is entered. This is a great way to end your season on a hight note and leave you anxiously awaiting the Fall season!
