Parking at Warner Park

Please read below for the Dos and Don'ts of Parking at Warner Park!

DON'T park on the hill next to or across the road from the football fields.

DO park in the grass by the maintenance building at the end of the parking lot for extra parking! 

DON'T park on sidewalks or where the pavement says “No Parking"

DO Park smart in authorized spots. Lock doors and take valuables with you.

All cars parked in unauthorized spots are subject to being ticketed or towed.

Please park in marked green areas only. Do not park in areas marked in red.

Weather Policies and Reschedule Reminders

In an ideal world, Mother Nature will cooperate with us all season, and no cancellations will be necessary. Those who have ever participated in a season of outdoor sports before know that is unlikely!

If a decision to cancel games is made, WNSL will send an email, post at the top of each sports page, and post online on our Social Media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). No news is good news - we will only post and notify if we cancel.

Once games are canceled, we will get reschedules posted as quickly as possible. Reschedule days are based on field availability and, most importantly, Referee/Umpire availability.

When reschedules are posted, we will send out a notification to all head coaches via TeamLinkT. Head Coaches are encouraged to find the email titled Join [Your Team Name] on TeamLinkt and accept the invitation to join your team with the league to never miss a notification!

We appreciate everyone's flexibility when we have to deal with circumstances that are out of the league's control!

Heat Reminder

We expect very hot weather this weekend. Please be prepared with plenty of water. Teams are also encouraged to bring tents to set up for shade.

We will take mandatory water breaks every 30 minutes or half way through games for Softball, Baseball and Football. Coach and officials may end a game if it is deemed unsafe to continue to play.

The WNSL follows the TSSAA Heat Index policy.

Rules Updates

The flag football rules have been updated. The league will not provide game balls for games. The rule has been updated as follows:

Teams will provide their own ball on offense. All team game balls must be of proper size, standard inflation, and be in good condition. Each ball must be approved by the game’s referee before the game begins

The baseball rules have been changed to update the time limits for Majors and Minors games. The rule now reads:

The game shall last 6 innings or 90 minutes, whichever comes first. The next inning begins the instant the final out of the previous inning is made. No new inning may begin after 85 minutes. 

My Team Has a Conflict with our Scheduled Game ...What Do I Do?

Conflicts happen! If your team is not able to make your scheduled game and would like to swap your game time, follow these steps:

• View the division schedule at TeamLinkt.com and identify teams playing in times that may work for your team.

• Go to wnsl.org and log into your account. Once logged in, go to the Team Rosters Tab. You will be able to view coach emails.

• Reach out to the team you would like to swap with to see if that swap will work for their team.

• If yes, please have the HEAD Coach inform the league (Copy kelly@wnsl.net & scott@wnsl.net) that you have made the swap and we will update the schedule online.

• If you are not able to find a swap that works for your team, please reach out to the league as soon as possible to let us know you may need to forfeit. Please do NOT cancel your game with the other coach on your own.

The Commodore Coach of the Game program honors youth football coaches who go above and beyond to inspire, lead, and positively impact their teams and communities. Selected coaches are recognized at a Vanderbilt Football home game with tickets and in-game recognition.
