Safety and Environmental Workshop - April 2, 2020

MBI and CSSI are bringing their collective safety and environmental knowledge to Sioux City for a day-long program on April 2 nd. The event will be held at the South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront. Attendees have the option to choose from a variety of safety and environmental sessions that are central to maintaining a safe job site.

Reporting OSHA 300A
Electronic Submissions Due March 2, 2020

By now, you have posted your OSHA 300A – Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses for year ending 2019 at your office and jobsites (February 1 – April 30, 2020).

Before March 2, 2020 a small fraction of establishments are required to electronically submit their Form 300A data to OSHA.
  • Establishments that meet any of the following criteria DO NOT have to send their information. Remember, these criteria apply at the establishment level, not to the company as a whole: 
  • The establishment's (not company) peak employment during the previous calendar year was 19 or fewer, regardless of the establishment's industry.
  • The establishment's industry is on this list, regardless of the size of the establishment.
  • The establishment had a peak employment between 20 and 249 employees during the previous calendar year AND the establishment's industry is not on this list in link below:
  • NACIS Codes 22 – Utilities, 23 – Construction and 4441 – Building Materials & Supply Dealers are listed.

Visit https://www.osha.gov/injuryreporting/ to create an account, report any injuries / illnesses and view FAQ’s.
