Gift, Grant, or Sponsored Project?
IN PERSON

Wednesday, March 8, 2023 10:30am-1:00pm, Blasco Event Wing, UNLV Foundation Building

We will be serving a buffet lunch with plenty of options for dietary restrictions.
What is the difference between a gift, grant, or a sponsored project? For starters, they are managed by two different departments: UNLV’s Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) in the Division of Research, and Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) in the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. There is often a lot of grey area in making these determinations. In this workshop, you’ll learn more about OSP and CFR, how they work together, and how their roles are unique in helping secure investments in UNLV’s mission of education, research, and outreach.

Join Corporate and Foundation Relations Senior Director Emily Irwin, and Office of Sponsored Project's Executive Director Lori Ciccone – along with members of their teams. There will be time for dialogue and your questions.
