At the Earth Day market on April 22nd -- As a team, we directly served a couple hundred Households 12,000 lbs of mixed produce and baked goods with a Volunteer Crew of 38. It was a challenge with a late delivery and fully recognize the monumental inconvenience you all endured. We are grateful to and especially thank those of you who stuck it out and hung in there for the long, hot day.

Supporters were pleased with the quality of the produce which many shared with friends, neighbors, family and co-workers. We fed hundreds of households throughout the Tristate with fresh produce! There was an influx of nutrient dense, imperfectly delicious and tasty, affordable Produce that reached many mouths throughout the TriState region.
Nothing went to waste!
Even the animals and those who tend to them benefited from this unique source of nutrition. Several full pick up loads of decomposing Produce went to local cows, horses, chickens, pigs, goats, lamas, and emus. Several carloads of decomposing Produce went to local Gardeners for their compost pile to recycle the waste into rich nutrient dense loam to grow more Produce and Plants throughout our region. Even the cardboard will be recycled or re-used.
